SBUAA Spearheads Webinar Series on Entrepreneurship

The San Beda University Alumni Association (SBUAA), through it’s Membership Committee headed by Joey Alvero, is spearheading a webinar series on entrepreneurship entitled “BEDAN-TREPRENEUR.”

Episode 1 will be heald on Dec, 12 (Saturday), from 3 to 5 p.m. The main thrust of the webinar series is to help Bedans who are struggling especially during this time of pandemic. It also aims to enhance their entrepreneurial skills and capabilities even during normal times.

Current entrepreneurs, as well as future entrepreneurs, who want to learn more of how to go about their businesses, can join.

The first episode of this year-long activity is called “Diskarteng Bedista.” which will feature two successful Bedan entrepreneurs who have made names for themselves in the business community. The speakers are Richie Cuna, president and CEO of Fiorgelato. DM Express (Donburi mix) and Kurimi Milk Tea Bar; and Bong Magpayo, president of Sweet CORNer, Sumo Takoyaki, 12C4 Bread Station, and Junca Cash.

SBUAA president Atty. Jimmy Buhain and the members if the board welcome this idea of sharing knowledge among Bedan alumni and students. Current entrepreneurship students of SBU are enjoined to participate. This is made possible through the help of Rex Bookstore.
