November 21, 2021

Voltaire Zalamea is a graduate of Bachelor of Science major in Marketing Class of 1996. After graduating from high school in Pampanga, he really made sure that he will be taking his college course in San Beda and finished his degree the best way that he did.

After college, he worked for a marketing firm in Makati as was expected from regular business graduates. But he had a yearning for something more – to excel in a field that he enjoyed much in college. He was a busy buddy during his student days. He was into acting being an officer of Dulaang Bedista. During his senior year, Voltaire was elected as President of the Bedan Dance Theater. He was also a member of several other organizations.

After 2 years of working in Metro Manila, he realized that he was not cut for office work in the big metropolis. He decided to go home to Angeles City and worked for his father who was the vice mayor of the city then. In his stint at his father’s office, he was in charge of organizing events that were usual for politicians. That was when he thought of venturing into the events business in Angeles City, then, the province and, eventually, Central Luzon. Aside from doing events, there was a need already for wedding specialists in their turf. In 1999, the Events and Concepts by Voltaire Zalamea group was born. He registered his company and made events and wedding planning his line of business.

Now, his group is a much sought-after wedding and events specialists in the region. They have coordinated numerous weddings mostly catering to affluent families. Voltaire and his team also do special events most specially those held at the Clark Special Economic Zone, Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority and other venues in Central Luzon where such events are held.

He is a proud organizer of the annual Wedding Destination: Pampanga for the past eleven editions and he hopes to continue it despite the pandemic. It is dubbed as the best and the biggest bridal fair in Central Luzon.

Voltaire makes it a point to always do his best in any responsibility that he accepts for he believes that he is only as good as his last event. He is always on his toes especially for new concepts that he can introduce to his market and clients always choose his team for their needs.

He says that his Bedan education helped him achieve what he has become. With work comes prayer which is motto of the Benedictines. This is Voltaire Zalamea – Central Luzon’s best events and wedding specialist…PROUDLY BEDAN!
